OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)
I am not sure why the lock-up was not in that log. I did the process from scratch with yesterday's build and I think I got the lock-up recorded this time.

Maybe a problem with ffmpeg?

Bill

Debug isn't enabled, but it looks like a normal, clean shut down with no evidence of any hanging - are you sure this is from a time when you had to power cycle?

DVD Menue is now working, main problem is solved, THX :-)

Only a little thing: the Kodi infoboarder wouldn't show me DTS - only 5.1 -
It doesn't greatly matter, at the moment :-)

Thank You all
Seeing something strange with thumbnails for a few TV channels. Turning on debugging logging, this is in the logs:

20:20:47 727.125793 T:1964920832 NOTICE: Could not find suitable input format: application/octet-stream
20:20:47 727.126099 T:1964920832 DEBUG: LoadFromFileInternal - Load of /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/pvr.mythtv/cache/channelIcon/2709 failed.

Also, when looking at previously recorded programs, this is in the logs:

20:25:22 1001.599670 T:1719661472 NOTICE: Could not find suitable input format: application/octet-stream
20:25:22 1001.600159 T:1719661472 DEBUG: LoadFromFileInternal - Load of /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/pvr.mythtv/cache/coverart/2757_1434157200_000 failed.

Is this maybe related to the FFmpeg thumbnail changes? I'd be glad to upload those image files if it helps.

Yes, that would be the most likely candidate - I've added a link on github to your post.

Can you upload the complete debug log? The images might also be useful, can you upload them in a zip archive to dropbox or google drive, as image hosting services such as imgur.com usually alter the format of the uploaded pictures.

No change in my lock-up problem with #1220.

Please put them into a folder and open them with by scrolling over them (thumbnail should be generated) and then click on them to view them. If it's not working get me another Debug Log please.

@zaphod24: ZIP the entire directory /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/pvr.mythtv/cache and upload the ZIP file to Google Drive - your images are loading without any problem here on a RPi2, but that may be because they've been modified due to the way you've uploaded them, using a ZIP file will preserve the original image format.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
Ok, I've uploaded the whole folder to https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8TU_Cp...sp=sharing

The channels that seem to have issues are 2709 and 2759.
Does anybody know why myth stores files without any extension?

Okay - I have looked through them. I will poke the mythtv maintainer ... that's a huge ugly shit ... as we need to full parse (!) every file in there, cause those can be png / jpg and so on.

Yes, indeed, the files have no extension. I've not been able to determine anything obvious like JPG succeeds and PNG fails every time, etc. The strange thing is that some of the images load fine but then scaled thumbnails fail...

It's a pure lucky guessing game.
