OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)
8080, got it, thanks, that worked
Crashed while I had a video paused on #0115 (Pi 2)

http://sprunge.us/OfWd

(I had to edit out my putio oauth token)

File was an HEVC 720p encoded mkv.

Then this while trying to watch a PVR recording. KODI is frozen when I posted the log, restarting KODI over ssh the ui recovered.

http://sprunge.us/XQWT

OMX decoding of mpeg2 is broken in #0115, getting nothing but black screen. Switch to MMAL and video works as intended.

Not sure what you are referring to - do you have a link to a pull request or commit?

Please provide a screenshot from Kodi 15.2 showing the 1080 flag and another screenshot from one of these Kodi 17 builds where the 1080 flag isn't appearing (just to avoid any confusion, as the 1080 flag is working fine for movies). This will probably need someone from the PVR team to take a look at it.

I've uploaded debug-enabled build #0115x if you can reproduce the crash - this should give a more detailed crashlog: RPi / RPi2

With 1114 :
Same problem for me with OMXPlayer : time display start counting from 0:0:0 after resume.

It seems to be an omxplayer only issue - doesn't happen with mmal. In #0112 there is an omxplayer fix so that it always shows the correct timestamp (it had been 2-3 seconds off), this might be responsible.

Not seeing this behaviour myself, can you provide a debug log?

Hi,

First time I play the movie : fine.
Next, I make a seek and when resuming video, I have only 2 FPS (MMAL).

Here is the log :

and the MVC movie :

Flag is working fine for movie in 1080 but not work for channel tv in 1080

Kodi 17 Alpha : http://channel.alwaysdata.net/kodi17.jpg

"Update available resolutions on Display device changes" is option available only for kodi xbian http://www.xbian.org/getxbian/
the resolution change automatically if i launch movie 1080p in 24hz or channel tv in 50 hz.
I no need to change setting manuel .. is automatically. Wink

Here you go:

http://goo.gl/EXQ75r

With MMAL enabled. When you go to the tv section. Chose a channnel and start it. its starts fine but after 2-3 seconds it starts buffering for 6-10 seconds and then its fine again until you change the channel. then its the same story all over again.

This does not happen with OMX

Thanks you for your help with this!

I would like to report a serious issue with Kodi in conjunction with Yatse.
Yatse crashes within one minute of playback of DSD music files in .dff format.
Eventually Rpi2 memory usage reaches a max and Kodi initiates a system reboot !

Navigating and playback of DSD (i.e. .dff) files is normal , either using a mouse control or the Yatse remote control aux functionality.

Which is the first build with this problem? Can you upload a debug log showing the problem?

This particular issue with Kodi/Yatse (in file mode), is actually very old. Same issue with OpenElec 5.8 ,OpenElec 6.0, and Milhouse the latest 6-8 releases tested so far.

here comes the debug file : http://xbmclogs.com/pwj6kh2ac

If you're seeing the Kodi spash screen you'll have a crashlog waiting to be uploaded.

Install the build that is crashing (so you have a fresh crashlogh) after you've seen the splash screen a couple of times, run the following to upload the most recent crashlog:
Code:
paste $(ls -1art /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi_crashlog* | tail -1)

then paste the link here.

You can then also try the following:
Code:
systemctl stop kodi
/usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin  --standalone -fs --lircdev /run/lirc/lircd

and paste the resulting console (ssh) output.

Have you raised this with the Yatse developer?
