How powerful is the power supply ?
What kind of SDcard ?
As all those could influence the efficiency
Let's not turn this into an overclocking thread, there are several of those already - please continue such discussion in a more appropriate thread (or start a new one). Although I will say this: RPi2 sdram@600MHz is going to improve your chances of smooth 1080p HEVC. Reading this thread might be useful to you.
