I notice the button to turn the system off is not working, not that I need it though :-)

Did the button to turn the system off work in the previous skin (I think it was called "Retouched")?

As Estuary and Estouchy are both new, under heavy development and looking for feedback in their respective forums it might be worth posting in the Estouchy release thread if you find problems with either skin (Estuary has it's own bug thread).

I also have a Windows KODI and on that system de Stereo upmix works fine.

Is it somewhere in my system or settings? Or is it a shortcomming in the RPI Openelec version?

It would be great to get it working.

I'll ask the obvious question - have you enabled "Stereo upmix" in Settings > System > Audio output? The default is disabled, and it requires your settings level to be Advanced or Expert before you can change it.

Thanks for the help

6.0.0? No, probably not. Try installing the updated Transmssion addon I provide from the add-ons download area. Try that version, if it doesn't work I'll upload a new version later this evening.

Thanks Milhouse, the new version is better Smile, I can acess the web page..setup download dir to external USB, but for some reason it still downloads to SD card instead. I can provide some logs, if you point me to correct ones.

Continuation from post number 1500....

Updated to #310 and started to navigate, slowly, through photos. This time the sound distortion occurred when browsing the photo folder of jpgs "car accident 2011".

The log files are uploaded here....

https://www.dropbox.com/s/leyzbvn1qv14d1...7.zip?dl=0

.....the white noise sound distortion continues until the Pi is rebooted. All the defaults as previously noted apply.

Thanks.

EDIT: I tried again with HDMI audio and the USB sound stick removed. This time after several seconds of browsing the Pi paused and after a little while the screen went black, it was unresponsive. Then the Pi rebooted.

I had debugging enabled and hopefully it might be of use....?

Can you disable "Use GPU for jpeg acceleration" in video/acceleration settings and check if the failure still occurs?
When I get back home I will remove the video acceleration for jpg files and test it out. I'll report back.

Thanks
I tried without the video acceleration for jpg's but sadly the sound distortion is still present.

A problem is because I updated to Kodi 17 almost right away I do not know if the issue is present within build 6.0.3 of OE.

Dropbox files of debugging....

Ok I quiclkly formatted another card and loaded build 6.0.3 of OE onto it and then browsed the same jpg files.

As yet they have been perfect with no sound distortion.

Dropbox debugging info.....

not sure if this means anything but when skipping from jpg to jpg the CPU usage (Kodi-CPU) was much lower than with these test builds of Kodi 17.

For example see this photo.....

http://s25.postimg.org/7fo8b8osf/2016031...00_HDR.jpg

where it shows the CPU-Kodi that was often near to and over 100 rather than being low.

I will keep testing later with 6.0.3

Sorry no idea, not a Transmission on OpenELEC user. Sounds like it might be a mounting issue, permissions issue, or a Transmission issue (post in their support subforum).

I've run into an issue which might have been there for a while, but currently I'm running the latest build. When the music library is being scanned, I can't play any video files. They only play audio, no video.

A debug log (wiki) and identifying the first build that has this issue would be useful.
Gentlemen, I got my first Pi 2 about a month ago and I have to say I'm rally impressed and I appreciate the work everybody is doing here.

Couple of things on my side. I like the old skin Confluence better then new Estuary. It's like looking at Windows 8 tiles on the start screen rather then organised start menu in Windows 7 or 10. It's probably OK for smaller phone and tablet when using fingers but with larger screen or projector Estuary looks bulky.

Going back to Confluence skin I see couple of issues. One was already pointed out by "parcel" in post: #1488. Audio video buttons don't work in movie player screen. There is no way to select different audio track unless you change the skin to Estuary.

Second is the codecs display option. Since March updates we have this stripped down version of Codecs info with bulky fonts. I hope you have plans to reinstall original codecs info with all the details about the audio and video.

As far as these builds are concerned Confluence is now a "third-party" skin, just like Aeon Nox. You'll need to post in the Confluence support forum if you have Confluence problems. There are no plans to include any further Confluence changes in these builds.
