Hi Kodi forum

i am having problem with the keyboard layout in kodi, i am a danish user so all of my keys ar messed up æåø //\\ :, and so on.
I have already setup the international things in the system setup of kodi, if i switch to the terminal the keyboard layout is ok and all keys are where they are supposed to be.
i have being googling around and i cant see that other non-uk/us users have the same problems whit there local charterers on the keyboard.

I am running Kodibuntu 14.04 LTS upgraded to Kodi 16.0 "jarvis" the keyboard is a Logitech K830

Is there any solution ?

I have already tried:
dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
setxkbmap -layout da
/etc/keyboard/default - XKBLAYOUT="dk"

I have the exact same problem, if you have the solution, please share.

I could get my Hungarian layout working in consoles, as well as in the Lubuntu session. The Lubuntu session seemed to miss the ibus daemon, since I start the daemon in my login script, the keyboard layout is ok. But for the Kodi session I still get the uk layout. Please advise.

In case of somebody stumbles to this thread,
To me, adding this to.~/ kodi/autoexec.py solved the problem:

import os
os.system("setxkbmap hu")
