I managed to install this skin, but can't see any TV section in the main menu? I have it enabled in settings and PVR addon is enabled.

Found the setting menu now. I haven't used fTV skin before so that's why I didn't know what to do.
Looks great so far!

EDIT: Darn, recordings don't seem to have any artwork on them, like with Confluence.

Cannot test it by myself, because my backend doesn't support thumbs for recordings.

There is no difference in the info label to Confluence. If Confluence has a thumbnail there, it also should be visible in my skin.

I really like the work Hitcher and you did on this skin! I am using the original fTV skin from Hitcher until now but I want to include Live-TV into my kodi setup as well where your skin is becoming intersting for me. As you wrote you are using the AVM Fritz DVB-C device which I have here as well. So far I am trying to use TVHeadend (4.2 dev. version on my Synology DS114 NAS) as a backend to provide Live-TV in Kodi. Everything is working. Channels, recording, EPG grabber and transition to kodi. But due to being a dev version or some other reasons, the tvheadend backend is crashing (stopping, running out of memory or something else) every couple of days without any notice. It is not reproducible from something specific so I cant track the issue down. But I want something more solid which is working if I want to watch some TV

You wrote ure using the IPTV simple client which I tried in the beginning and was working rock solid (no need for extra backend, perfect). But the problem which I had with IPTV Simple client is the XMLTV EPG source...

How are you managing to get the EPG working with the Fritz Device

If you could provide some tips I would highly appreciate your help.

Won't get this thread into OT, but here's my quick answer

I switched to TV Headend this weekend for my living room HTPC. The backend is running on an RPi2. Works well since 3 days.
For the sleeping room I'm still using a RPi2 with Openelec with the Simple client. EPG source (XMLTV) is one of the VU+ community.

do you know the addon TV Highlights Grabber - TV Digital ? Its a real cool advantage for the live TV.



To get this addon working you have to made some changes in the skin. Maybe you would integrate it in your fTV mode.
