Bug [2.6.9] thumb not dowloaded when a file stores 2 episodes
#1
Question
Hello,

I guess this must be a bug, so here are the details:

Given a TV Show where episode 1 and 2 are in the same file (following Kodi's wiki naming convention)

Code:
anything_s01e01_s01e02.ext

tMM will rename it to my custom profile:

Episode file name: $N - S$2E$E - $T

Code:
TV Show name - S01E01 - Episode 1 S01E02 - Episode 2.avi
TV Show name - S01E01 - Episode 1 S01E02 - Episode 2.nfo
TV Show name - S01E01 - Episode 1 S01E02 - Episode 2-eng.srt
TV Show name - S01E02 - Episode 2-thumb.jpg

That is, the thumbnail for Episode 1 is not downloaded from thetvdb.com even though it is listed in the website. Accordingly, tMM interface will show a red cross for the missing image in Episode 1

Only 1 thumb for a file. In case of joined episodes, thumb of the 2nd episode is used. That thumb hasn't been renamed properly, maybe try scraping again?

akya, thank you for your message.Sorry, that was a typo on my side. The thumb for the second episode actually looks good:

Code:
TV Show name - S01E01 - Episode 1 S01E02 - Episode 2-thumb.jpg

And your statements follows indeed the way tMM works. However, please mind that after importing that TV show in Kodi, no thumb for Episode 1 is displayed List, Big List or any other chosen View... If say thetvdb has such a thumb, why not let it download and have it renamed so that it is properly imported?

Thanks,

ohm... what naming format expects Kodi in this case?
Anyone knows?
Up to now, the rule always was, to name the picture same as the video files (and add -thumb)...
