Solved Wrong Audio Channel Numbers in NFO
#1
Hello,

if in a video file, an audio stream is found with eg " DTSHD-HRA (ES or MA) 7.1 " then an incorrect value is entered in the NFO.
Instead of 8 channel it writes 14 channels (see picture) . Must it be so or I have to change what ?
Kodi reports it as 1.0 instead of 7.1.

regards

ah well, i see.
MediaInfo is not capable of reporting the complete amount of channels.
MI reports "5.1" and we sum it up to 6ch
In this case MI reports "8 / 6" and we falsely sum this up to 14ch :p

Just curious;
what does Kodi write into the NFO when you play this file once? (and doing a NFO export afterwards i guess)

If I export the library as a single file writes KODI 6 channels in the XML file.
Also wrong Wink

ok, we're now taking the highest one, while summing up some x.y.z channels Wink
