Had lots of problems ever since the last API change, resetting the cache and cookies didn't help. Now i've chosen to reset the addon and it started working again. Maybe someone can use this advise Smile

Hi.

I'm using Kodi on OpenElec 6.0.199 (Intel_EGL) - Chromium was installed correctly and Flix2Kodi too. (Chromium is working well) I've setup Flix2Kodi and I have access to my NetFlix account (I can browse the content) - but when I'm selecting any movie/TV show screen just flashing (sometimes I can see message for half of sec - "If your browser does not lauch ...") but no browser and no playback is starting.

Is there any solution for this issue?

Regards Chris

with or without the chromium launcher plugin?
either way check in the chromium launcher scripts inside the flix2 or launcher plugin if the path-to-chromium is valid, probably not if you ar using openelec...

Hello,
After osmc, I have installed kodi on my raspbian (for pi2). I tought it would work better since there is an X server with raspbian. However, it seems to fail to launch the chromium.sh script from kodi(I have added some log) while it works if I just run it directly from the terminal in raspbian.
I'm not sure this code is working on pi:
Code:
process = subprocess.Popen(callstr, startupinfo=info, shell=True)
If I replace this by
Code:
subprocess.check_call(callstr, startupinfo=info, shell=True)
I get a return code 1...

Go to /addons/plugin.video.flix2kodi/resources/scripts/launcher/linux/chromelauncher.sh and do the changes. Worked for me.
If you want audio, add "--alsa-output-device=plughw:0,8" just before the "$url" part in the line that launches chrome. 0,8 is your output device from aplay -l, change it to what your audio output device is.

mind you that if you use --alsa.... when returning to kodi, you might not always have sound.
and you should disable 'keep audio alive (or something)' in kodi, because this hijacks the audio device and --alsa will not work (keep it at never or once a minute for roulette style audio :o) )
when you force video with edid this issue should not occur.

Yoǘre right, i do lose sound when returning. What do you mean by forcing video with edid?

forcing edid means that your oe or kodi box does not read the edid screen info from the receiver/tv but forces tv standards read from a file in xorg.conf (edid.bin).
you can generate an edid.bin file for your tv/receiver like this:

kodi:
http://kodi.wiki/view/Creating_and_using..._xorg.conf

oe:
http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title=...DID_nvidia

b.t.w. if you are in europe and use live tv, also add the 1080x1920_50 as the first item in the modes section of xorg.conf.
netflix will stutter @ 50 Hz so you should also change the chromium.sh or whatever script you use to launch chromium to switch refresh rate from 50 hz to 24 hz and back when you exit flix:

Code:
xrandr --output HDMI-0 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 23.976

and when returning

Code:
xrandr --output HDMI-0 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 50

this is however semi optimal, but hte best you can achieve so far.... because netflix has some streams for european market that are 25 hz... this will cause a slight stutter.

OR

you can use 60 Hz fixed for everything (live tv, flix etc), this will cause slight stuttering also...
appletv does this

Hi all, I installed flix2kodi and it seems to work but I encounter login issue. The addon ask for the login repeatedly. I noticed also that I have some trouble with the double account. It ask repeatedly if I'm user 1 or user 2

Is there any way to solve?

Hello Logi85,
I just managed to retry this today, using 0.6.0. I get the same issue. I tried clicking and pressing enter with the same effect each time.
The screen changes as if something is about to load, and then I get brought back to the selection screen.

Any indication when this will be fixed?

Hello I am brand new to kodi and still a bit "noobish" on linux(kodiubuntu). I have the plugin all installed and configured as best as I can tell. I had previously installed and the uninstalled netflixbmc. all my profiles come up, all the content seems to be there but when you go to launch any video the screen just flashes and then nothing else happens. I have had a few messages pop up while navigating some of the menus telling me to check logs but I am not certain where those are located as well to post here. Any initial thoughts?

Hi kodi I have an account with two profile.
Every time I try to open movie list or other stuff related to a profile the addon crash, ask to login again ethat's it. Nothing happen. I can't see anything.

Is it a problem retaed to the two profile?

Thanks for any replay
