Not sure if this is the correct forum, i post both here and android subforum

I got myself a nvidia shield tv (android tv) an have installed Kodi 15.2 and later upgraded to 16 beta4.
I run tvheadend on a server as my backend.
the shield is connected via ethernet
when i start live tv it´s buffering constantly, doesn´t matter which channel
playing regular 1080p videos works without problems

i also have one windows pc and one rpi2 on the same network and live tv works perfectly on those two.

any suggestions what could be causing this?

Having the same problem.

Try disabling passthrough and see if your Live TV works.

I'm running the experimental Jarvis RC 1 from that thread. Not sure if the official Jarvis also has this issue.

Thanks for the reply.

I just got mine working though, my problem seemed to be that when testing the shield i connected it to an old pc monitor with hdmi to dvi cable.
When i later connected it to my tv (1080) with hdmi-hdmi cable everything worked just fine.

I really don´t know why it behaved like that but not an issue for me anymore
