new version is on github. I am waiting for Weblate translations to be pushed back and then submit it to the official repo.
For now it can be just installed as .zip package.
Regarding the scanning exclusion list, after the first cleaning is done, there will be an empty file

created in addon's workdir. Just put paths to exclude, one per line. Matching is done by checking if the path starts with the defined string.
