When trying to run Jarvis in portable mode using the -p switch it fails to open. a windows message this application has stopped responding press ok to close appears.
if the -p switch is removed then kodi will open using the 15.1 userdata.
kodi 15.2 and earlier open in portable mode.
I have tested this on 16b5 16b4 and 12/01/16 nightly all do not open in portable mode.
I am using Win7-32 pro.
installs are all to root of C:\ with names such as "kodi16b5"
I have tried resetting permissions on these folder to full control [users] and tried running as admin.
running the shortcut (with -p switch in compatibility mode XPsp3 successfully opens jarvis in portable mode.
Is this information helpful?
Any suggestions on a better fix than running in compatibility mode?
What am I missing/don't know?
