Linux Questions regarding Kodi Qnap App
#1
Hi

New to the forums here, So greetings to everyone Smile
I've rerecently bought a Qnap NAS TS 451 with hdmi port intregrated.
Quickly figured out that Kodi whas the best app to play my media content. However I still have some questions.
Not sure that this is the correct location though.. (feel free to move if needed Confused)

1. The Kodi app installed on my Qnap is a native HD that has a UI on my Tv. However I have some overscan and need to correct that. When I go to settings and try to change it I'm asked to alter the overscan with the arrow. However I don't manage to change the setting using the virtual mouse (Qremote) Should I hook up a mouse and keyboard to my nas to alter these settings?

2. Using Kore ( remote app for Android to control the interface ) Is there some kind of instruction manual to let the app connect to my nas? The app doesnt seem to find any media servers..

to 1.)

The overscan problem should be solved at your TV, not at Kodis GUI. There should be some setting on your TV to disable overscan. Maybe some screen modes (normal, wide etc....).
