Sorry for bumping an old thread, but seems to be the one that fits better for a quick question regarding Color Range with a nVidia Graphic card...

I was just wondering if setting Limited in the nVidia Control Panel video options:


Would be the same as setting Limited in Kodi (or any other video player), with no extra conversions or something like that right?

I'm aware of the double conversion that might happen if using limited in the GPU global options (Desktop), but was wondering if in this case this option can be used safely in the same way as choosing limited within Kodi.

hi with amd rx480 do i set rgb to limited 
kodi on Limited Color Range
samsung HDMI Black Level low

You need to set the Graphic card to Full RGB. Kodi to Limited and your TV Low (That is Limited).

This just for video content of course.
