Wondering if anyone here can help...
Need to replace my acer revo r3610 as it can't cope anymore due to HEVC content.
Looking to purchase either the NUC6I3SYK or the NUC6I5SYK.
All I need it to do is play up to HEVC 1080p.
I don't need 4k playback at all.
I can currently get:
NUC6I3SYK + 8GB ram + 120GB m2 ssd - £350
NUC6I5SYK + 8GB ram + 120GB m2 ssd - £440
the i3 model is cheaper than the previous gen i5 model with ( from what I can tell ) the same kind of CPU power.
the i5 model is obviously more expensive ( making the i3 quite an attractive price point ), but is a more powerful CPU.
Any advice is really appreciated!
