I very likely will now this new AML Kernel is bedded down for the C2.

Decided to go Back to the Future today and use AMLogic's previous version of GPU video drivers.... and well the results speak for themselves...especially with a slight 1.752GHz CPU and 1104MHz RAM Overclock.
You would swear it was Intel under the hood ! Big Grin

Help me out here please. Is this tar to be installed on the C2 or is it for the play2? Because I installed the December update just yesterday.

C2 only because WeTek devices have a different U-Boot and Hardware descriptor setup. I can port most patches to Hub / Play2 easily when I get time.

Now that we have achieved M.F. status this Skin works nicely with the little M.F. C2 beastie: Wink

How to Install Aeon MQ7 Skin 4 Kodi

Oh yeah, that's the skin i'm using, it's very good and usable already with your Aug image and Oct update without overclocking cpu and ram but now it's even better!
Thanks.

OK, so I decided to install LibreELEC-Odroid_C2.aarch64-7.1.1.LIRC.tar. Had some problems with my MCE remote. But thanks to the invaluable help of @Merlin.KIS I resolved that issue. Look at this post (on another forum) for the solution.

Forgive my confusion, but are the adjusted CPU/RAM clocks built into this December update? Thank you for all you do for us C2 owners. Keep up the excellent work!

I spoke too soon Sad

After a cold boot the MCE remote again didn't work. I will have a look over at the other forum to see if I can find other solutions.

You may have to re-enable Lirc with this LIRC.tar version.

From LE 7.1.1 release notes...

- Ability to Overclock DDR3 SDRAM included in this release. Config instructions in this thread

Look for the boot.ini file on the SD Card / eMMC for instructions about CPU Clocks. I can only use Max 1.752GHz

Well, that did it Smile

Had to switch to Confluence 'cause I couldn't find LibreELEC settings in Aeon Nox.

You have add a custom button for this.

No it should be under 'programs' in any skin.

Which I disabled Programs since the beginning of using XBMC. Will have a look there. Otherwise I' ll make a separate entry (somehow[WINKING FACE])

Well, I checked and in Aeon Nox it is under Apps. But apart from LibreELEC setting I don't use any apps. So I created an entry under System called LibreELEC and that starts the LibreELEC add-on.

I am a happy camper again Nod
