ODROID C2 S905 2GB RAM HDMI 2.0 $46
I believe those are fairly popular. I don't know what size that is, but I have one of these, and it works surprisingly well. The USB dongle stores inside the device to keep it from getting lost, which is handy for me. The range is great and the battery life is really good. It's very small, similar to many remote controls.

I've had Rii Mini for years now and I would recommend a Bluetooth version.
The first Rii I had was 2,4 Ghz and at one of the parties the USB dongle got broken and it's pretty much impossible to find a replacement for it.
Bluetooth version is a bit more expensive but you can replace BT USB dongle with any other BT USB receiver if needed.
The keyboard itself is great! The only flaw I found is the ~10 second lack of communication when device is woken up. Once the connection is established the keyboard (and the embedded mouse) is working perfectly.

Hey Guys ,

I plan to buy an Odroid C2 for HEVC 4k 10 bits support.
Can u confirm there s no problem with latest version of LibreElec (LibreELEC-Odroid_C2.aarch64-7.90.010 )to read this kind of videos ?
if it s good , it s the best of the best solution for Kodi only , isn't it ?

will it play x265 1080p rips with mkv extension? divx converter puts out a mkv or i can use tsmuxer and make a ts file, but wondering which the Odroid C2 will like better

No problems with 4K 10bit HEVC playback. In fact with the recent AML Kernel & LE Kodi patches from the AML LE developer peak3d and AMLogic themselves, the Kodi Krypton release is looking better than I have even seen Kodi on an AMLogic platform. Pretty much plays anything you throw at it no matter what the .mp4 .mkv .ts .flv etc video container.

Fixed are longstanding VC-1 playback issues (thx AML). Video sync timing and support for all manner of codecs and problematic files is a lot better across the board. We expect the Krypton patches to land in the official AML C2 Kodi Krypton images soon as well.

Raybuntu's C2 Kodi Krypton releases are testing what will end up in the final stable C2 LE Kodi Krypton. This Krypton LibreELEC image is excellent, good enough to use as a daily Kodi platform. Video playback is superior to the previous Kodi Jarvis, its all nice and smooth. Smile

Use a Wireless remote control to use with any Kodi Krypton device and you have yourself a pretty decent Kodi package.

Its DIY (over)Flashing of the existing Android or Linux image on the eMMC module.
You can use the official LibreELEC flashing tool to point to a local .img file or use the official LE C2 built in download image once its stable:

Can I connect my external USB HD directly to the C2 to feed it my media and if so which disk format suits the C2 (LibreElec) best for this?

I am having issues with my external HD via my ASUS router over samba.

Yes LibreELEC has a built in SMB Server for doing just that. I can access C2 connected storage directly from my iMac's Finder sidebar. It just pops up when the C2 is connected to the network.

You will need to use either a powered USB Hub with a 2.5" HDD or an externally powered HDD. The C2 cannot supply enough USB power.
You may get away with a modern more power efficient USB3 2.5" HDD.

Linux Ext and NTFS formatted HDD's will work. FAT32 also, but that has the 4GB file size limitation. I have not tried ExFat. Not sure about OSX formats either but I can test if reqd.

@wrxtasy : thank you very , I buy Odroid C2 , it s perfect !
but just a small question : which Librelec should I take ?
this one : LibreELEC-Odroid_C2.aarch64-7.90.010.img.gz (directly from official website)
or this one : LibreELEC-Odroid_C2.arm-8.0-rb-beta1h.tar (from http://raybuntu.libreelec.tv/images/)

@leo5111 : I think 1080p h265 mkv is a piece of cake for Odroid C2 if it can handle HEVC 4k bits Wink

Raybuntu's rb-beta releases have all the nice updated AML video sync patches in it at the moment. Its the one to use over all other releases.
