It could create lots of problems, but would also be more convenient since some versions of Kodi have like 2 or 3 revisions, also when you choose the beta branch it's difficult to keep up. Of course if there ever was a choice of automatic update it would be deactivated by default.
Updating Kodi is easy enough, but it could always be made easier.
If it's not possible, can I install a different Kodi build (or any other program) in one computer through another computer in the same network? I'm on Windows (the HTPC at least) so maybe there would be registry problems if I did that?
