How should I set algorithms please + what about display modes (madVR may switch to window) how should I set this?

Set chroma upscaling to NGU low. Focus on luma quality. Start at NGU medium and work your way up if there are no dropped frames.

As for display modes, set 2160p23, 2160p24, 2160p50, 2160p59, 2160p60.

Thank you very much for your advice. So right now I am using:
chroma upscaling NGU - high
image downscalling Jinc (with scale in linear light and activate anti-ringing filter lelaxed)
image upscaling Jinc (with activate anti-ringing filter)
upscaling refinement - off
Artifact removal - Debanding: Medium/High
Artifact removal - Deringing: Off
Image enhancements: sharpen edges (1.0) + AR + AB 50%
Dithering: Error Diffusion 2

Should I change something?

Are you upscaling?

How do you mean it? I don´t see image doubling (because I use madVR 0.91.5) and I use setting that I wrote you. So right now this settings are everything, that I have changed from default:

properties: no change, because I am not sure. I use television which have 8 bit+FRC = 10bit (PC levels, 8 bit, auto)
calibration: this disply is already calibrated - BT.2020, pure power curve 2.00
display modes: 2160p23, 2160p24, 2160p50, 2160p59, 2160p60.
hdr: convert HDR to SDR by using pixel shader math (this display´s peak nits 320, preserve hue in high quality 50%-50%, all others tick)

chroma upscaling NGU - high
image downscalling Jinc (with scale in linear light and activate anti-ringing filter lelaxed)
image upscaling Jinc (with activate anti-ringing filter)
upscaling refinement - off

I'd switch image upscaling to NGU high or medium rather than use Jinc. And disable sharpen edges. NGU is plenty sharp enough.

Ok and what about other options in image upscaling.
algorithm quality
luma high
chroma let madVR decide

algorithm to use after doubling
upscaling let madVR decide
downscaling let madVR decide

I have got a weird problem when I change display modes to: 2160p23, 2160p24, 2160p50, 2160p59, 2160p60
Black bars started to be "grey" (white) and not black. Is there any way to solve it?

Did you check that your display supports those modes? Reread the section on display modes for instructions on how to do this.

My screen refresh rates are 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 50, 59,60. I think this should not be a problem

Did you touch something in zoom control?

No only
disable scaling if image size changes by only 2 lines or less
move subtitles to bottom of the screen/window

Try the Mac support forums. This is definitely the wrong thread.

I use the displaycal to build the 3dlut file,
Can be "convert HDR to SDR content by using an external 3DLUT" application,
Can not be "process HDR content by using an external 3DLUT" application,
Tip is "input and output format wrong", do not know where the problem?
how do it?
