The noise is likely part of the source video. Upscaling with NGU Anti-Alias instead of NGU Sharp might help or NGU Sharp with reduce compression artifacts checked as part of NGU Sharp upscaling is an option. However, both options likely won't remove enough of the noise to be completely satisfying. Adding sharpening shaders to reduce random noise might also be worth trying, but that is attempting to fix one issue by adding another. Still likely not that satisfying. 

The general recommendation is to use high-quality sources and live with the grainy look that comes with anything shot on film rather than attempt to remove source noise with video processing. It rarely works without significant compromises.
Is it possible to set different settings for different content types?  Like I don't want the noise filter on anything above 1080p.
