WIP Ember Media Manager 1.4.8.0 ALPHA - Discussion Thread

Kodi does not pick up any of the additionally image types out-of-the-box (let me know if I'm wrong!).
But you can additionally enable the file name settings for ArtworkDownloader in Settings => Movies/TV Shows => Files and Sources => Kodi Addons.

Yes, but you no longer need the ArtworkDownloader and MSAA if you use Embers Kodi Interface.

Hi there, I've noticed the studio flags from August Update 2013 1474898 (post) are missing missing from the studio folder.

Also there are three subfolders in the studio folder: Avnet, Emmet & Kennedy that should have their contents moved into the main folder and deleted.

Cheers!

Dan hello again..

found something else

if

nfo is not read by ember. it displays nothing even if F5 is pressed
same error goes for

I am using the "<seasonpath>\fanart.jpg" and "<seasonpath>\poster.jpg" options in Season in TV. Using these options, automatic scraping doesnt seem to be working.....

folder.jpg and poster.jpg are being scraped in the main show folder but fanart doesnt seem to be working at the moment

EDIT - seems like TVDB isnt working

Starting with the last build, it pops up with a profile selection dialog. There's only one, ie "Default". Is there a way to make it automatically select that and not give that dialog everytime I open Ember?

added: basic profiles handling
- settings now are saved inside the Profiles directory
- simply add a new folder inside the Profiles folder to create a new
profile
- Temp folder is shared with all profiles

CommandLine:
It's possible to load a specified profile in CommandLine:
-profile "profile"
Ember will be start with GUI if no additional commands are set.
Ember use "Default" profile if no profile has ben set in command.
Thanks. Adding '-profile "Default"' to the arguments field fixed my problem.
@Dan,

a) as i ve mentioned above there is a bug
if

nfo is not read by ember. it displays nothing even if F5 is pressed
same error goes for

b) when creating the nfo for greek language is it possible for language to be set

and not
(kodi does not like ell)
I'm using Ember now since multiple years, but this is my first post because I really can't find the problem.

In general, I've downloaded the latest alpha and overwrote the existing files. It still shows me 1.4.7.2 - is this really correct?

Another general question: Am I right that when I've got multiple scrapers, the order defines the priority? When for example TMDB scraper finds something the same field isn't scraped/overwritten then from IMDB right?

My biggest problem is at the moment the language: At the moment English only is used. There must be a setting I'm overlooking (or a bug) but I can't find it. I want to use German and defined the following settings related to language:

Movies: Files & Sources: de
1st Scraper Trakt.TV
2nd Scraper: TMDB - no language setting available (I think there was one in the past right?), Fallback to EN activated
3rd Scraper: IMDB - Force Title Language: German - Worldwide Title as Fallback

Where do I have to set the language that everything is scraped in DE and EN is only the Fallback?

Best and thanks in advance!

PS: I've tried to disable TMDB and got other plot from IMDB and so on.. So that works in general, but it's still English. I'm trying this with "100 Bloody Acres" which has a German plot at the TMDB.
I have my tv shows in genre folders eg:

C:\tv\action\tvshow1
C:\tv\action\tvshow2
C:\tv\drama\tvshow1

If I configure EMM with C:\tv as a source, it will not pick up shows recusrsively, I have to add C:\tv\action, c:\tv\drama, etc

Does anyone know what setting I have to change to just add C:\tv?

Yes, Alpha use 1.4.7.2 as version number.

Yes, to order of data scrapers defines the priority (top-to-bottom). If a scraper has a value for a field, this field will be locked for all following scrapers.
Atm you have to use TMDB or IMDB as first scraper. That ones are to only scrapers with a proper search engine.

You have to set the default language for each source. All new movies without language settings in NFO will be set to this language. You can manually set the languge via context menu.

IMDB is english only.
