Did this project ever successfully move forward? I'd love to give it a go however the link to the SKYPEXMLCONTROLLER.zip appears to be dead.

Is it being hosted anywhere else? How do I give this add-on a try?

Hi the SKYPEXMLCONTROLLER is available in the github https://github.com/olixelle/SkypeXmlCont.../README.md
but is in VB.net
Does someone know hot to execute this?

Sorry if this is a little tangential, but might it not be better to create an add-on for the open-source Ring voip?

While Skype has a great many more subscribers, a Ring voip add-on could be cross-platform and possibly easier to incorporate with Kodi.

If cross-platform isn't possible then concentrating on a Ring add-on for Linux and Android could bring video calls to TVs connected to Kodi Android or LibreElec boxes. Which I imagine would be very popular.
