Beta Spotify for Kodi
I would also really love to see a Spotify Connect Server integrated with this addon.
That would make it perfect.

Also would it be possible to seamlessly integrate selected or all music from spotify to the kodi music library?
So you could integrate fanarts and stuff like that in widgets but refering to your Spotify library.

Greetings
Hendrik

Hey marcel,

I still got problems with the krypton version. I thought the problem is fixed in beta 2, but the problem is still the same. Do you know when it will be fixed?

Hi

i am start to pull my hair soon Wink

Spotify addon works 100% on Kodi on the computer.

But:
When i try to control it with Yatze App for Android, every album starts in Shuffle playback somehow, the songs are not 1-10 sorted,
The Kodi function for shuffle playback is not enabled.

Are you guys having the same problem?

I will add support for the web Viewer addon today:

http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Web_Viewer

EDIT: hmm, tried that and isn't working so no luck for pi users.

There is a small workaround to try if you have another client which actually does have a browser:
1. install the spotify client on a pc with a browser
2. open the spotify client and accept the authentication request in the browser.
3. now, on the filesystem navigate to kodi userdata\addon_data\plugin.audio.spotify and copy the cache file to the same location on your pi

I didn't test this but it's worth a shot If it works it might be an idea if I create an option to specify a custom path to the cache file because the token gets refreshed from time to time.

Worked fine on my PI/Xbian. Thanks a lot for this work !

Hi. I think I've used this addon in the past and could get more than list display, now I only have list display as option in any folder.

Ah my bad. With the default skin it's working. I think I will just leave alternative skins behind, not worth it.

marcelveldt, i installed your addon on my Minimx III s905 box with Libreelec and then copy files from a working Raspberry install.
Addos says not suppported on platform but if i go ahead i can browse my lists/songs and music starts to play but only for 30 seconds, then stopped.
Can this be fixed ?
