So, according to @OlivierQC's message, HDR doesn't seem to work with Kodi v17.0 (Well... that was kind of what was expected). Thanks Olivier for testing.

I am little confused here. So, the shipping firmware doesn't support HDR, but Olivier somehow got a beta firmware that has HDR support?

I don't think the Pioneer SC-81 can be upgraded to HDMI 2.0a. The only way to get HDR and HD audio without upgrading the AVR would be by getting a HDFury Integral.

This AV receiver completely supports with the latest HDMI standards. Thanks to transmission of 4K video at 60 frames per second pass-through, you can fully enjoy the high definition video quality of 4K without degradation. It also adheres to the HDCP2.2 copyright protection standard for 4K video transmission. It also supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) Video which provide enhanced picture quality by simultaneously enabling greater detail for both the dark and bright parts of an image. What do you think about ExpressX engine v2, this is my opinion but the image processing is less visible on screen than the Version 1 with Q5/Q10 4K3D.

I see the contrast changed a bit but that's it, may be it is normal with 4K demo...

I know that the settings are not the same for each person but what are your settings ?
