Android HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro (2016) with Kodi (4K / HDR / 3D / HD Audio)

The wrapper has changed, to accommodate p/w protected shares. But, it's a bit of a nuisance for those of us who don't use p/w protected shares as the app forces you to type in username and p/w (see screenshot). Also, it isn't remote friendly, so you really need a USB keyboard attached.

no need pw and username, you choose kodi or wrapper himedia and back button, that's it.

The updated HiMedia (native) player now automatically returns you to where you last left off if the video is long (like a full movie). It takes you to the beginning with short clips. No more prompt whether to resume or start from beginning. HiMedia should reinstate this feature, and get rid of the silly video stop/exit confirmation prompt instead. Also, I don't know how they're determining in which videos, at which length (or perhaps filesize), to resume for and which not.

in my opinion it's easier, the movie play automatically and you have the option to restart the movie for a few secondes with the back button from the remote
