Win Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback
In what resolution/refreshrate did you set the Windows desktop and within the Kodi settings? Do you use 4K upscaling on the Yamaha?
Kodi 19.1 Android/Google(TV) [ Shield TV Pro [64b] / Mi Box S [32b] / Mi Projector / Fire 4k TV stick / CC with Google TV ]
Kodi 19 [3D MVC build] Shuttle DH270 [Kaby Lake i3-7300/HD630 graphics - W10-1903]

Windows and kodi are both set to 1920 x 1080 / 50p.

and besides the last question above (still not answered), do you have auto refreshrate active in Kodi and do you have the problems with al sorts media, is it with 2D or 3D or both?

Can you place some screenshots (Kodi audio and video-settings)?

@p750mmx:
Auto refresh rate is activated. The issue only occurs with 3D media. Screenshots follow asap.

@hdmkv: I just tried mixing audio (new) and video (old) drivers, but without success.

What i have just recognized and is in my eyes totaly crazy: Whenever I have frame drops, opening the kodi osd let the frame drops suddenly dissapear, but after closing the OSD they reappear!. This is always reproducable.

Edit: Just found this thread which seems to describe the same phenomenon.

Should I be buying any celeron j3060 or n3050? I was looking for a cheap option and that's what I found for a good price. Or should I go second hand and buy the i3-3217U - I think this is ivy bridge

Since Intel fixed the HD Audio issue with the N3050 I think that will be a good option on the cheap.

i just got a 65C6P as well, and now i'm addicted to 3D. The Hobbit was indeed awesome. but my favorites are the animated Dreamworks movies. hey have you figured out a way to watch 3D MVC MKVs on yours? i'm dying to backup my 3D Blu-ray collection and play them off a USB drive, but i haven't had any luck getting them to play right through Kodi on my PC.

This entire thread is dedicated to watching 3D MVC MKV files on a PC.

yes, i know. i'm having problems getting it to look right on my LG C6 TV, so it's useful for me to specifically ask someone who has it working with a C6. if there are tips about how to get it working specifically with this or other 4K passive 3D displays buried in the 150 pages of this thread, i didn't find them.

Your panel probably does not have older HDMI 1.4 inputs designed for 1080p 3D. It probably has 2.0a designed for 4k. It is not backwards compatible. 3D is not going to work unless you use a different player with Kodi like PowerDVD. Many choose to invest more money in an NUC device with these older ports to circumvent the problem.

i was just trying it out on my desktop PC to make sure it worked before investing in a NUC or Zidoo. desktop = AMD FX 8350 with NVidia GTX 960 output to LG C6 via HDMI 2.0a.

yep, it has 2.0a. are there any solutions that will get me the full 3840x1080 per eye? i assumed devices with HDMI 1.4 would limit me to 1080p (1920x540 per eye.)
