When stuff is "lip-synced" or "in lip sync" or "has lip sync" it is perfect. When it "has lip sync errors", "is not lip-synced", or "is out of sync", things are wrong.
There appears to be a creeping use of 'lip sync' to mean 'lip sync errors'.

Nope. There have been enough mutations of correct video terminology in PC circles, if I can do anything to keep things sensible (and so they also make sense in the video world) I will...

(Don't get me started on 'telecine' to mean adding 3:2 pulldown/repetition... And lag... Grr... Lag is the worst misuse... )
