@brazen1, yes, with 3D.iso and MVC MKV, Kodi MVC build is auto-switching to 3D mode. Haven't tried HTAB and HSBS yet, but I'd expect they'd auto-switch to correct 3D mode as well, provided they're named .sbs or .tab in the filename.

Oh well, if it doesnt work well or i bother too much on the lip sync error... this device can still take service for ps4 remote play and 2d viewing for movies

For thosing having the nuc DN2820FYKH
It seems its selling in 2 versions:
One with the 2820 proc , and one with the slightly better proc + faster ram supported the 2830

Both are selled as nuc DN 2820FYKH

Could you guys please tell if yours is 2820 or 2830?

If you're shopping in person, there is a way to differentiate the new and old model though. There is an SA number in the bottom of the box. If it says Version # H22962-103 it will have the new N2830 processor. The models -100, -101 and -102 are equipped with the older N2820 processor. Alternatively, the AA number can be used to check the model. AA number H24582-203 is the new N2830 model whereas -200, -201 and -202 are older models. Messy, huh?

Both movie78 and I got the N2820. Didn't even know there was a newer N2830. And, yes, lip-sync error only affects some 3D ISO's. 2D is perfect, at least MKV's, as I don't have any 2D ISO's. Also 3D MVC MKV's are perfect.

could you check if u have lip sync error with 3d iso played as 2d? pls (just switch during play from 3d to 2d)

The relatively big differences are that the N2830 supports faster DDR3L 1333MHz memory and Intel Quick Sync, which allows for faster conversion of video

Maybe this might help with Out of Audio sync issues

This would be a hard choice if i found the one i ordered is a 2820 and 60 euro, while i could get a 2830 for 145 euro
dunno what i would do, cancecl the 2820 and go for 2830 but not sure it would make difference, or keep the 2820

Keep the 2820, almost 85 euro price difference and it's not full proof that 2830, wouldn't have Lip-Sync issue.
