With Kodi, even w/o HDR, the benefit of HDMI 2.0 is 4K@60 (vs. @30) and 10-bit (vs. 8-bit).

Can't you use both the 1.4 (for 3D) and 2.0 (for 4K) ports via different inputs on your AVR to TV/projector?

According to my post on the last page, even 2.0 isn't outputting 60hz on 4k movies, right? The last number is the hz?

Well it depends on the clip you're playing, I have an hdr clip that plays at 4K@60 but of course no HDR.

Interesting, how do I tell what it should be playing at? The "o" menu while playing? Also what exactly is HDR
