Kodi swaps resolutions doesn't it? It's just not swapping correctly in this case. Yes my TV is 4k/3d
I have the same issue, the only movies being displayed in their own res are 3D movies.

3D and 4k (both 24/60 fps) display in their own res right? It is anything under 4k that is not 3d that is incorrectly displaying the resolution

If you set Kodi Refresh Rate to On Start/Stop it changes the resolution to the format of the file that you're playing, which is a good thing, you don't 3820X2160p file playing 1920X1080Huh

I also notice that once you stop playing 3820X2160p your display driver will pop a notification on the (Samsung SUHD TV) bottom right of the screen.

Thats how it should work, and it does for everything except not 4k content. Is it hurting anything by my TV thinking the feed is 4k when its 1080? It looks fine, I could just be being picky.
I'd prefer the TVs upscaler. If TV is seeing a 4K feed, it's not doing any upscaling of the 1080p movies.

Any idea on how to make the TV see it as a resolution it actually is? I have the Kodi refresh rate on start stop setting picked. I'm guessing Kodi is not assigning it correctly?

I can't find anything in the debug log that says that its changing to that resolution... Could the TV be showing what its upscaling to in the info button? I'm pretty sure I took those images with my Beebox hooked directly to my TV, but in the case of me being wrong, could the receiver be doing it? Or could the TV info button just be wrong?

Debug log is below.

TV Info displays what is being fed. I set my receiver to bypass video feed and still get 4K res on 1080p movies.

Very odd, does you debug log also say that its changing to 1080 but display detects 4k? Could it be the adapter?

I'm back from vacation on Saturday and will test this with my beebox 7200u and my Sony 4k projector. I was under the impression that I tested this already in the beginning and 3D didn't work with the club 3D adapter.

something wrong with your ISO. perhaps you need to grab original bluray again. (event 2 means BD_EVENT_READ_ERROR)

Thx for your input so far, converting might fix it?
Why does any non kodi lpay it perfect then? It happens with ALL my iso´s played in 2d

I also tried https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B6Z...UTF8&psc=1

but this one was acting odd, when the line flexed the image flickered, so i will be returning that one

Have you try connecting straight to the HDMI 1.4 port?

Everything works exactly the same, except 4k @ 60 hz does not work, I believe my TV showed that media playing @ 1080 @ 60hz

Still no reply

btw, happy new year
no.. Pls read what i said.
People say its fault in my iso file but its not.

So my 3d iso play ok in 3d mode with every player (kodi afedchin build, mede8er, dune etc etc)

But my 3d iso doesnt play ok in 2d mode ( it actually plays good until some point) this with all kodi builds , even cross platform and even with afedchin build

But my 3d iso do play good with all other non kodi players like, zidoo, dune, mede8er etc etc

So its definately a kodi bug.

just tried turtles 2, happened again, again with all iso!

Replied to you via PM, but just re-posting here... watched 'The BFG' 3D ISO in 2D mode... no problems... I let it play all the way to the end, past the credits.

Has anyone had any issues with Kodi switching from Wasapi to Directstream when coming out of sleep mode on the NUC?

Yes, I have!!! I notice when I look at my amp and it says multi channel as opposed to dts master audio etc. I go back in and change it but it doesn't appear to be a permanent fix.

I have tested my beebox 7200u with my club3d display port adapter. In my setup 1080p movies play in 1080p and for 2160p it changes the resolution as expected. The issue I have is that 3D MVC doesn't work. I can hear sound but my projector stays black!

So no different from playing mvc on the HDMI 2.0 port.
