My internet isn't really fast and I would like to stream videos in a lower quality, is that possible and if it is how do I lower streaming video quality.

Al Jazeera resolution is not user settable, and it's SD already anyway (unless you're suing the beta feed)., While the You-tube add-on can be lowered in the settings, but the add-on is not supported at this time. Any of these video streams are very dependant on the the users bandwidth and pretty much expect broadband standards. If you want smooth video, you'll have to prod your local provider, or settle for local on hard drive data.
