I have a 1st generation FireTV box (not stick). It appears that the DASH option of the plugin selects the highest frames per second for the bit rate. That selection causes an issue with this device. The box's specs say its capable of 1080p60, but either something is not quite right and the videos at 60 FPS stutter and drop frames. I have tried playing with the min/max bit rates, but I cannot seem to get it to select 1080p30. I either get 720p or 1080p60 depending on the values entered. Can the plugin be modified to specify max frame rate limit for a resolution? For example, allow 720p60, 720p120, 1080p30, 1080p60, etc.? Being able to limit FPS will also help for those of us that face bandwidth caps. Thanks!

is it correct that you can stream only live content in 1080p? and you need DASH for 1080p and above for non-live content?
edit:
i tried to play a video with 2160p and 60 fps. 2160p is okay but only 30 fps are pssoible with DASH. anyone an ideao?
