Req Replacing same episodes
#1
From time to time I update my library with better versions of files/episodes, but unfortunately Kodi can't copy watched attributes to newer source.
For example: I watched video abcV01 on 1.1.1900., later removed it, and added abcV02, which is same material, but better quality.
Still in dbase v1 will have watch count 1 although it is no longer available, while WC for v2=0.Is there a way to copy attributes, other than manually editing dbase?

all in there already....

1. http://kodi.wiki/view/Import-export_libr...hed_status
2. export your library to seperate nfo files per folder
- there is a tag inside that nfo..."last watched" or something like this -
3. replace the old file to the new file (be aware to name it exactly as the old file, so that the path won't differ for the library)

done

Might be, that you have to play the new file once to get new streamdetails and let the skin show the "better quality"

Some people don't like this addon, but Trakt works perfectly for me - I do exactly as you do, replacing lower quality videos with higher quality videos.
You can set Trakt to sync after a Video Library update, it will then sync the watched flag from Trakt.tv back down to Kodi.

It's also very useful if your library gets corrupted and you need to rebuild it from scratch... oh the hours of manually marking things as watched that I used to do....Blush

Actually, I found solution that is quite simple. It is enoguh to copy newer version to same folder, start Kodi, and then remove LQ video.HQ one will have status as the other one.
