v17 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)
Somehow CPU usage has increased:
#0606: 11,5%
#0605: 11,5%
#0604: 11,5%
#0604: 11,3%
#0603: 11,3%
#0602: 8,5%
#0601: 8,2%
#0525: 6,9%

top over ssh, RPI3 idle and suspended

Surprising that Kodi needs 11,5% CPU usage for kodi.bin, supended and idle

Is it possible with Kodi 17 (LibreELEC, Milhouse build) that i connect a usb bluetooth 4.0 dongle, and stream the audio to my bluetooth speakers?
If yes, how? What do i need? (I have Pi2 B)
thanks!

Percentages are cpu usage in top for kodi process:
Code:
/usr/lib/kodi/kodi.bin --standalone -fs --lircdev /run/lirc/lircd
So no, not when kodi is stopped. I presume suspend on a RPI is just
Code:
vcgencmd display_power 0
, kodi still running.

I came to the issue, because I tested my RPI1 with Kodi 6.0.3 and hifiberry, that I use mostly for playing music with mpd plugin, dropping 50% cpu usage (48%->22%) with hdmi disabled by screensaver (thx for the tip), and still playing music over hifiberry.
Code:
vcgencmd display_power 0
.
I always wondered why Kodi takes so much CPU being idle.

Will test a bit more, when I have time.

Ok, i got luck with a new usb BT4 adapter.
Libreelec can use it, and i can select under system/audio out: PULSE Audio, Default Bluetooth Smile
It works. However my 60fps mp4 files stutters often. Why? CPU usage is still between 10-20%
If i set back audio out to HDMI, video playback is smooth.
If i disable MMAL hw. accelerated playback, video is smooth, but bluetooth audio not working, it goes back to hdmi.

What's going on here? What settings do i need for smooth playback +BT audio?

thanks in advance!
Thanks for the DVD iso playback support again... It works fine here :-)
Hello everybody!

I' am missing the "video calibration" feature under Settings --> Display (former Video).

Anyone having the same issue?

Greez

There for me. It's in system/display in settings and you need settings level set to Expert.
Thanx a lot popcornmix.

You saved my day! Smile
Hello again after a long time ;-)

well, reinstate DVD support works now, but DTS and DD5.1 Audio don't work @ #605 /606 with all tested DVD.
(only on my Pi2 ?)
DTS-audio-CD in wave works fine - also Videos in h264 or m2ts stream (BD50).

I take a fresh installation from libreelec homepage on a new formated SD-card with updates from here.

...now i switch back to OpenELEC-RPi2.arm-6.0-Milhouse-20151001210244-#1001-gcd25a32 and all DTS/DD5.1 on DVD files works.

TinaTurner - Live from Holland, Alan Parsons (all known tricky files from the past) plays only in Stereo, although the info about DTS or DD5.1 is shown in the file-info.

Thanks for all
Harald
I Dont remember which build it was still able to do this but i think it was below #600
whe i stand on a directory i could choose Watch all or watch none. But now i dont see that option anymore. i didnt change any setting only just updated the build.
i have directories sometimes with 500+ files if i have to manual click watch all or unwatch all. it takes a LOT of times.

Unless it was a addon that added that but i cant remember that i removed one.
