v17 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)
Hi from Germany,
after i updated to #0623 my official kodi remote app for iOS didn't worked. The app can't log into kodi? ssh works fine.
(Connection Timeout)
After i downgraded to #0622 the remote app is working again fine so i think there is a problem with #0623 build.

Anyone else with the same issue on build #0623?
Same here. Kodi remote does not work with 0623.
i have no problem with the kore app for android build #623

Thanks for the reports, do either of you have debug logs? I don't have any iOS devices to test this, and Yatse (Android) is working fine.

Build #0623 is a clean build, and the only obvious change is PR10020 but this shouldn't affect authentication unless the iOS app is tripping up over the API change. It may be worth pinging the iOS app maintainer.

oh i found the problem. if you have a existing connection yatse and kore app are working fine
if you try to make a new connection it fails!

"yatse could not find kodi version"

build 623 and 623x

Quickly tried to connect from ipad and Kodi remote app, deleted all IOS existing connections, then let app search for and then try to connect to kodi. Dont think anything being highlighted in Debug Log
RPi4, (LibreELEC 11.0) hdmi0 -> Philips 55PUS7304 4K TV, hdmi1 -> Onkyo TX-SR608 AV Receiver
I just downloaded v.17 Krypton (OpenLibre). http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/mast...b3d478.tar

#0623, 24-Jun-2016: Generic -- Release post (Bump ffmpeg 3.0.1 -> 3.0.2+HEAD; ffmpeg rework package; fix JSON IMDB ratings/votes (PR:10020))

Place it my update folder, rebooted and it installed perfect. The skin is awesome! But sadly I need to downgrade back to Jarvis (OpenELEC). But I can't find a stable .tar file anywhere.

Does anyone have a direct link?

Post it here please. And you're sure this problem only started with #0623? Could it be the the app updated recently?

Yeah the same for me. I let the app search, the app will find kodi but can't connect to it. password and username are correct
I don't see how this could start with #0623. Can you confirm the app is connecting with #0622, and if not what is the last working build.

Yes i'm sure. tried all versions starting from #0618. Remote app works with all versions but not with the #0623.
I'm running #0622 open the app on my iPhone, app connected everything perfect.
Leaving the iPhone untouched ... updating to #0623 ... app loosing connection and can't connect anymore.
Still leaving iPhone untouched .... downgrading to #0622 ... as soon as kodi starts the app is reconnection.

Trying to config the iOS app new. The app searched and found kodi (#0623) but can't connect. pw and user is correct.

Ok this are the logs i have.

build# 0622

I can't see anything wrong. I also check on #0623 via ssh the account for remote and everything is correct. (thought pw could maybe be changed).

If you need something difference let me know
Just a comment that have tried yatse and kore via andorid device on #0623 and neither are able to sucessfully connect to kodi like situation for kodi app in ios. (not tried to connect with ios or android devices for at least a week)

Will now step back to #0622 to see if remote ios and andorid apps working with #0622

Argh use pastebin sites for logs...

@sleuth: I've had to edit your post, the log file wasn't a debug log (wiki) anyway. I'll see if I can reproduce with Yatse.
