I've had an unexpected restart of Kodi today.
The crashlog can be found here: http://sprunge.us/RROe
Scenario that seemed to trigger it...
Whilst on the Recordings screen I restarted the tvheadend backend (it's installed on a different box and needed to get some changes I'd made to the recording logs to kick in). A notification was displayed in Kodi stating that the connection was lost (expected that). As the backend came back up a notification was displayed stating that the server did not respond correctly. Immediately after, another notification was displayed stating that the connection had been established.
Once that had happened Kodi restarted. Everything seems fine after that. I've not tried restarting the backend again just yet but can do if need be.
This has happened to me previously, but not been in a position to raise it. I'm not sure that the screen I was on is significant either. I'm also not in the habit of fiddling with the recording logs (only needed to do it prior to this when migrating tvheadend servers), so I'm hoping something is obvious to someone from the crashlog.
Thanks in advance.
