v17 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)
Bloat is something we are mindful of with LibreELEC.

Adding Estouchy would mean an extra 4MB shipped to every user whether they want it or not, and the vast majority do not.

dont know if this issue was reported before...
I'm using Hebrew subtitles and noticed that from build 01/11 subtitles are displayed direction is wrong (every word is right to left rather than left to right as should be)
For example (in English... to make a point...) - 'hsilgnE' rather than 'English'....
31/10 is all good...

Any ideas?
BTW didnt manage to try the latest version yet... though 02/11 is still with the same issue
thanks!
Thanks, yes it has been reported previously without identifying the first broken build. From your information my guess would be PR10813, hopefully developers can take a look. I'll revert PR10813 in tonight's build so that you can confirm.

will do thanks!
Hi. I'm new here. just install the last build from scratch and cannot get correct time and date. it seems to be the default.
I've set the correct timezone but it didn't help. any suggestion? Thanks

You need a working network (internet connection) to get the time/date.

If you're on WiFi there's a known issue when obtaining internet time while using certain routers: https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/1519

When you set the timezone, you need to set it in Kodi (just in case you set it in the OS).

I noticed that if a movie contain LPCM and AC3 tracks Kodi will default to the AC3 track. This is annoying because LPCM is ususally the main audio track and AC3 is the audio commentary track.
Default tracks depends on the container - with mkv you can flag which is the "default" audio track. Can you post the Media Info for the file?

It's a BDMV folder. Kodi defaults to AC3 if I play it as a BDMV title or as an individual m2ts file.

Anybody got issues with autoshutdown? Somehow my RPi3 keeps running (at least the HDD)

My PI3 also does not fall asleep when I turn off the TV. Maybe it's because of TV.

I fell asleep yesterday and today morning my TV went to standby but the HDD was still on. Did not check the RPi - just turned the powerswitch off. (I hate to waste energy)

Thanks for the reply. I'm connected by wire to a working network (watching live TV). Set timezone in kodi settings.
But no correct time date (looks from default values). Any other possible cause?

What are "default values"?

Run the following and paste the urls:
Code:
journalctl -a | pastebinit
dmesg | pastebinit
cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit
connmanctl clock | pastebinit

ntp appears to be working, but is getting a completely bogus date/time so this looks like a local network issue.

Have you configured any additional timeservers in LibeELEC Settings addon, or do you have a local timeserver running (perhaps on your router) that is giving out an incorrect date/time?
