What's that?
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
Addon that jumps back a set amount of time when you pause a video.

Once you upgrade please let us know does it work for you without issues.
I have also N3050 based Intel NUC and tried few LibreElec + KODI 17 builds and all of them are freezing on my system after some time.

Same freeze problem here on my Braswell NUC5PPYH. Only 505x with kernel 4.4 is working stable (I did not test 509x so far). All other standard versions with the 4.6 RCx kernel are freezing after a 2-3 minutes.
Hi Milhouse, in case if it may be needed below is the latest output of the logs of 0509X at frozen state:

Have the logs I posted provided any insight as to why my Braswell Pentium NUC locks up?
Hi,

kodi and all the plugins i use (amazon, youtube, mediathek) works fine with the latest build. I had problems with a baytrail related kernel bug. But i was able to fix it using the kernel parameter mentioned in https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109051.

But there is one strange bug still existing. When the system is started i do not have any audio (over the tv using hdmi). I have to change the displays refresh rate once (value doesn't matter) and then the audio is fine. Any ideas how to fix this or approach a solution?

Thanks

Nothing we could fix.

I'll provide logs in the evening when I'm back at home.

OK, had time to test it earlier:

The behaviour occurs between 11:59:51 and 12:00:27

THX... i tried hard yesterday but no luck. Is it in your case too that the drops are in a constant order and the video looks like a choppy low fps video? Do you have the Unpause Jumpback Addon installed? (http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:XBMC_Unpause_Jumpback). I still got the issue with the latest 509x Build :-(

Don't use any addon. But have the issue with 509x too. So it might not only be a kernel issue?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I've this issue only with SD material. With HD all works flawlessly. So maybe it's an upscaler issue?

Rolling back to 419 solves it, so this broke with some build in between.

Edit: Build #0420 is the last one that worked, it's still broken in #0509

@Milhouse:
Just to be sure I created a log with the latest (0510): http://sprunge.us/ABZb
and noticed on shutdown a crashlog was created: http://sprunge.us/JRBe

So something is causing the system to crash at shutdown ...

It's crashing due to an NFS (libnfs) connection, though it's not entirely clear why this should happen - there are no obvious errors that might explain the crash. Is this reproducible, or was it a one-off?

It seems to be pretty consistent, I'm not sure it really is the cause of my issue, I just noticed the crash occurs on the 0420 build as well ( http://sprunge.us/YJba ), but I can still power up with the remote, which doesn't work with any of the more recent builds.
If you disable library update at startup, do you still get the crash with #0510?

Regarding your IR issues, is this any better with #0509x?
