Thanks it works now Smile Cool

I won't include the process player info just yet as the code is still being developed and not yet ready for review (so would only generate a lot of noise) - once it's PRd I'll include it.

Edit: Aaaaannnd it's just been PRd... PR10166

The skin.estuary repo is marked as private on Github and this causes more work to include any pending pull requests in these builds so they'll only be included once they merge. Not really sure why the skin.estuary repo remains private. If they change their mind and make the repo public I'll happily test their pending pull requests.

I still don't see the point of keeping the skin.estuary repo private, however I've implemented a change in the build procedure so that future builds will now be able to access the commits in the skin.estuary private repo. Unfortunately anyone else using my build scripts is unlikely to have access to the skin.estuary private repo (it's limited to Team Kodi members, God knows why) so they'll have to comment out the skin.estuary pull requests.

Thank you!

Edit:great
Hello,

I have a weird problem with the latest build. Sometimes the video freezes but the audio & subtitles keep playing. Is there some setting that I have to adjust?

Platform: Intel NUC Kit DN2820FYKH
NAS: DS415
MYSQL: MariaDB (Synology Version)

I'm using the following cache method:
<cache>
<buffermode>1</buffermode>
<memorysize>314572800</memorysize>
<readfactor>20</readfactor>
</cache>

Thank you for your tips,

Soul
@Soulplayer: full debug log please. Enable debugging, restart Kodi, reproduce the problem, then "cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit" and paste the link.

Have you tried this build on your Revo? Can't play any music on mine and it seems to be ignoring my keyboard.xml.

Will get a debug log later when I have the time.

I can reproduce the music problem - it hangs Kodi. Same on RPi2 so not Revo or Generic/x86 specific.

This is the debug log when playing music: http://sprunge.us/bNjM

There is no crash, as Kodi simply freezes (some kind of deadlock?), but this is the crashlog when I kill kodi.bin: http://sprunge.us/fTfF

I'll try testing a build without the AE tempo filter and see if that makes any difference.

No idea about the keyboard.xml, typo perhaps?

Music playback is working after dropping PR10164 (AE: add atempo filter) so I won't include that in future builds until there is a fix.

I copied the file /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/98-eventlircd.rules to /storage/.config/udev.rules.d/98-eventlircd.rules and edited it removing the new code

This allows me to use my custom keyboard.xml with the aftv remote

I'm going to try later and see if it's simply a case of changing the values over.

ie

Code:

should now be -

Code:
<KEY_MENU>Info</key>

or -

Code:
