Edit: Ah got it: https://www.geekbuying.com/item/MECOOL-M...86124.html

But this seems to be 100Mbit Lan though

It is not allowed to make that links I think, thats why I made only a hint.
100mbit is enough for streaming from homeserver. No 4K Bluray I know has more than 100mbit, mostly 50-70mbit maximum I think.

Streaming 4k UHD over wireless AC about 30cm to my shield tv resulted in stuttering. Until i wen gig ethernet it had problems.

Be warned.

i would use lan, not wlan. that means real 100mbit in that case. still faster then bad 5ghz connections. I dont worry

alright, so would would be the other options for 1gbe lan then. Different sites state different speeds for the same product.

@fritsch

Because you gave me a good advice on my last board (ASRock N3150-itx), I just wanted to ask, if you would (still) recommend an ASRock J3455-itx, if I want to do an upgrade?

My TV can play 4K @ 60HZ now, so I ordered a J3455-itx to replace my old board.

Are there any known bugs using Libreelec Milhouse with this board (except HDR not working under Linux)?

I'm asking because I had some trouble setting up the board.

Deinterlacing settings weren't saved for all media, which makes playback unusable.
Curious thing about this - when I delete my advancedsettings.xml, the settings get saved.

Only part in my advancedsettings.xml is the mysql section, so that should not be a problem (actually).

So if you say, the board is not worth a try anymore, I would send it back and get another one instead (or later).

Any idea?

Could someone with Apollo Lake play that entire sample here:

Does it work without artefacts?
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

I would wait for Gemini Lake in Q1 2018. My own Apollo Lake will replace J1900 in my 24/7 Server as soon as possible, because I am disappointed very much from LSPCON, Aspect Ratio and HD Audio Bugs. Actually I wonder why no-one complains about the aspect ratio bug since LSPCON 1.66 on Apollo Lake Mainboards.

+1 to that. Though HD Audio is fully working for me: X1300W + drm-intel-nightly since some months. I use LSPCON 1.72 which made different issues for others.

J4205-ITX - AVR Denon X6200W - Sharp LC-60UQ10 work fine, without artifacts. Build Generic.
