We talk about firmware hdmi update from Intel NUC, its not for Asrock but its the same chip mc2800, maybe with this update solved the problem with HD audio, but is a risk.
Ours chip is made in March 2016, the firmware update is more newer.
Until install the firmware i see in the tutorial update the program show actual version, maybe you can execute the software to see if program detect actual version about ours chip, yo dont need execute update for that.

yes this one, from intel link (this update fixes an issue where surround sound (5.1 or 7.1) does not work with some AV receivers)
