There are reviews for this TV on the Samsung website dating back to May 2016, so it must have become available in Spring '16 and is not that new of a model I guess. Not sure why mine has the HDMI issue. I tried a couple different cables too, thinking one might be bad. I've never been able to get anything to display on the TV from the board via HDMI unless I boot with the cable unplugged, wait for a minute for Windows to load, then plug in the HDMI. Then 4k resolution works OK until the TV is shut off and the connection is lost again. I can't even see the boot screen during startup when the cable is connected, and I have fast boot disabled. The tv can't make an HDMI connection unless I wait until Windows loads to connect the cable to the HDMI port on the board. DVI to HDMI works fine though.
I pasted this in my original post a couple pages back, but here's the link to other users having the same issue on the ASRock forum.

I'm glad the boards are working great for most. If others are having this issue maybe you can post the Samsung model you have, so if others have the same model they will be aware of the potential issue when building their HTPC.
Did you test this with Libreelec also?
