I won't comment on fast forwarding in times when video data is not on tapes anymore. Use it for 2x speed, but use left / right for everything higher.

So far only difference in the leaked stats that I notice is the native HDMI 2.0 (and the cache size). Guess you could say the DDR4, but Apollo Lake from Intels specs does support LPDDR4, would have to ask Intel and ASrock why they went with LPDDR3.
