There should be another speed improvement in the latest release - HTTP caching is enabled now and thumbnail downloads are using the same method.

Just tried the new version. Much much faster! :-)
On small bug though. The programme names are all garbled though: b000bm3zc..... etc.

Still, overall this is fantastic. Nice work.

Still having trouble with random hangs when starting some progs, annoying thing is it's intermittent, sometimes a particular prog will play but other times the sound will start playing but no picture, Xbox then eventually hangs and have to turn it off. Seems to happen about 50% of the time...Other 50% of time works really well!

Can't work out any pattern, and tried using Wii/vp6 streams but happens with both. I've linked a log file from when it hangs, in the hope it might mean something! Anyway cheers for any help you can offer!

Is it possible to have this run from a button with a command like

use activatewindow, runplugin is specific for items that actually play media not display a list.

so far when I click on the iplayer symbol in the video section it says-

Remote Share
Could not connect to network server.

Even though I can watch youtube in scripts.

Also stream videos from my pc when clicking on "workgroup (smb) network.

No i just changed videos in MediaStream to BBC Iplayer as i use library mode and this menu is not needed and also iplayer doesn't work in library mode so this way its launched in video mode and you get all the correct names.
