I have tested the addon on Kodi 17.3 runnning on a Raspberry pi and I haven't had any problems. If you could run the Kodi log uploader and let me know where your log files was uploaded to I can take a look.

www.curiositystream.com is a subscription site that hosts 1,400+ nonofiction programs to grow curious minds (lots of documentaries - think TED on steroids).

I have no affiliation with the site, I just like their content.

The code is on Git https://github.com/VeryBaddude/plugin.vi...stream.git

You can download the ZIP file directly from here.

The site allows you to view the first 2 minutes of any video if you do not have a membership.

Use the addon settings to enter your username and password.

Comments/feedback/bug reports are welcome!

Enjoy!

I loaded the add on, and was able to get curiositystream to work, but even after I entered my user& PW info, it only lets me see 2 min. In the bottom of  the screen, it shows 53 min (or whatever) but still only shows 2 min

Hi, Until recently I have been using your addon without fail, but the last week or so I can't seem to get past the loading of a video(and after ~30 or so seconds the "loading" text just dissappears).
I can seemingly still log in and browse around, just unable to play videos...

Something I am missing or?

@GravGunner

1) You sure your using my add-on?
There is one in the official Kodi repo which isn't by me...
Quickest way to tell is the version. Mine is 0.0.3 (other is 2.0.0)

2) I have tested mine and still working great for me.

3) If not using my version, you can install by following this:

Also try Settings Playback > and disable Use Inputstream HLS
number 1 fixed it... was sure I installed yours(have more addons from you, so repo was added)...

Oh well, works now, cheers!

I'm running Kodi 17.6 and followed the link above to load the repo and addon, logged in and i can choose a documentary but nothing plays.  "Settings > Playback > Install Widevine CDM" and "Also try Settings Playback > and disable Use Inputstream HLS" options are not available on version 0.0.4.  Any thoughts?

you need at least 2.2.19 of Inputstream Adaptive to work with MPD dash files (which this addon uses)
17.6 Kodi uses an older version than that. So you'd need to update to 18 for the add-on tow rok.
