episode count wrong [solved]
#1
I'm using Kodi v16 latest.

I recently decided to start from scratching using an existing mysql database, fresh Kodi install. Everything went fine, pulled up existing library, etc.. However the episode counts for TV shows are wrong. It's showing episode counts for more episodes that are currently in a TV show and showing an incorrect unread count as a result

Some posts I've found said that deleting the database and re-building fixed it, but I'm trying to avoid that since my database is quite large. Any ideas on how to fix the unread count for tv shows when it's wrong?

Tired re-scanning the TV show, and that didn't work either.

Debug Log running Kodi, going to TV Shows, then going to specific show referenced above

updated main post since it's not just unread, but episode count itself, which is skewing the unread count.

also, not sure if this matters, but on a whim I skimmed the log file, and the idShow of the screenshots I linked is 139, however inthe list of queries directly preceeding it (lines 727-749), that id isn't listed in any of the queries, which I think (and I could very well be wrong) relates to getting the unread counts.
Only once I click into the show is that ID used. Could the queries to fetch unread counts be using the wrong show IDs?
