Hello, it looks like I finally switch from Windows Mediacenter to Kodi. I used WMC since Vista until Win 8.1 also for TV recordings. So on my fileserver I have a lot of WTV files, that is the recording format of WMC (Vista to 8.1). Basically Kodi can play the files (tested under WIndows 10 with Kodi 16.1), but Kodi seems not to support the metadata stored in a WTV file. These metadatas contain additional infos about the recorded video, grabbed from the EPG. They are for example: Exact title of the movie, subtitle, content description, recording time, 1st sending date, etc. It would be fine if Kodi could display that title of the movie instead of the filename, and if selecting such a video, if it could display the subtitle and description would be fine. Maybe it is even possible to add this content to a search index of Kodi, that I can search for specific recordet movie or deskription. That would be nice! Is this possible? If necessary I can provide a few (small) WTV files for testing.
