Correct- I was using spmc. Downloaded Kodi krypton beta and it's running fine with the uninterrupted playback. I have to say krypton looks awesome

Krypton looks even more Awesome when used with the v2.0 Estuary Skin.

I actually hated the disjointed nature v1.0 Estuary Skin.
This new one is much easier to read, and the ease of use with a remote has improved a hell of a lot !

I think it's more "back to stop" which bother him.
FWIW, long-back does the Kodi back.

I have an external HDD. Wd elements desktop 3TB.

When I turn off my box from the remote. The disc stops, but after a while it returns to the beginning and not stops.

When I turn off the TV, my box goes off too. And it's the same with the hdd.

Can you completely shut down my box?

Do you have hdd problems?

How is the performance of v17 on AML devices? thinking about grabbing a Mi-Box or a play2 for black Friday.

Define "performance" and Exactly what Audio and Video content you would be using on either device ?

H264 and some H265, all 1080p. AAC or DTS audio but no need for audio passthrough.
My requirements are not top-notch, as I am only looking for a small sized player as I spend all my time travelling and in hotels, TV's are usually 32" and there are no AVR's.
My question regarding performance is about all the discussions about removing AML hacks, does that mean the devices are "not usable" or usable but not by purists?

Edit: another question, since it is an S905X box, do you think we will ever see Libreelec running on it?

The same problem, I turn off my box and past some minutes, the HDD start, finaly i disconnect the HDD because start randomly time.
If anyone have a solution.

What do the Tech Specs tell you.... ?

In Kodi / SPMC:
any 720/1080p 10bit HEVC playback = green screens
2160p(4K) 10bit HEVC up to 60Hz = fine
