You should never use both of those at the same time.
In fact you do not even need "Sync Playback to Display" at all when devices do Kodi auto Refresh Switching.
That is interesting and I would definitely not mind your input, what if you're playing a 23.976 hz video and your TV only supports 24hz? Apologies if it's slightly offtopic.
