To be clear - personally I need this setting disabled. But in recent builds I see that it's enabled by default and I cannot switch it off.
Make sure you are on a skin that is aligned with Krypton B1, as settings are all changed around.
It is in a new settings category named "media settings" / music / library / show song and album artists
This used to be called "library settings" earlier.
